Today we spend the morning driving to Deadhorse, AK, stopping occasionally. After arriving, we will get an ultra-exclusive tour of the Prudhoe Bay Oilfields courtesy of British Petroleum. This is a highly restricted site and it is very rare for them to allow any visitors. The tour will include: production facilities, the start of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, worker quarters, and recently constructed methane/carbon sequestration facilities. We will also get a chance to visit/swim in the Arctic Ocean, if you dare.
